“DAVID SLAYS GOLIATH”
The residents of the Highland village
of Invergarry have proved that
right will always win through, eventually.
Northern Energy Development tried to just breeze in here,
thinking the village would be a walk over, but no, we were not going to lie down without a fight.
But let's be magnanimous in victory - they deserved to lose, and they did.
Firstly, they were confronted with in excess of 120 objections to their plans. Later, at an
open meeting, the extent of opposition was even clearer.
Then, planning officers turned the application down. And now, a final appeal by NEDL
has been firmly voted down by the appeal committee - unanimously. So a very big
thank you to all who have contributed.
